God’s command

When we look at the Bible we read God's intention: "…who would have all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth." 1. Tim. 2:4 

God has already done everything for salvation - through the Saviour Jesus Christ. Yet how can people come to know about this living truth? "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without preaching?" Rom. 10:14 

God's purpose and method to win “MAN” back to God is obvious: God sends his children into the most remote corners of this world, to be ambassadors of his love. The DIGUNA team seeks to obey the Lord in the tremendous work of preaching the Gospel, especially in East and central Africa. 

Our work

We support churches, missions and individual missionaries with technical assistance, equipment and transportation. In addition we are involved in radio broadcasting and Christian literature distribution. As a result of poor roads in most parts of Africa, we have to use off-road trucks to reach most villages in order to minister. 

Africa is ready for the Gospel. Generally the people are very open and receptive. Many have left their idols behind and committed their lives to the living God. It is not our aim to change their culture, but to give them access to true life and forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ. We encourage them to abandon a life-style dominated by fear and mistrust and to get to know a new quality of life through God's love, this is of course a joyful experience. Yet there are still people out there who haven’t heard about God’s love. Who will tell them the Good News?
